Ericaceous Compost is specially formulated for acid loving plants such as Acers, Anemones, Azaleas, Begonias, Berberis, Blueberries, Camellias, Conifers, Cranberries, Fothergillas, Gardenias, Heathers, Holly, Hydrangeas, Liriopes, Magnolia, Pieris, Rhododendrons, Rowans and Skimmia.

Standard compost can cause ericaceous plants to become weak and their foliage turn yellow because they aren’t being provided the correct soil formula. This will eventually lead them to die due to lack of nutrients.

With a pH of 5-5.5, the compost is perfect for lime hating plants and has been enriched with nutrients to boost your plant health, promoting successful growth and beautiful flowers. Added peat improves the soil as well as offering aeration and drainage.

Not recommended for non-Ericaceous plants
